EventAI Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the EventAI mobile app ("EventAI", "the app", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. EventAI is an AI-powered city guide: you enter a city, and the app shows popular events, sports, sights, and restaurants for that place.

The short version: EventAI does not require an account and does not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, or precise GPS location. We process the city names you search, a device identifier used to apply free-usage limits, and subscription status for the Pro plan.

2Information we collect

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the app.

Information you provide

Search input — the city or location name you type (or select) to get results. This text is sent to our server and to our AI provider to generate your results.

Information collected automatically

Device identifier — a device-generated identifier (Android ID) is sent with your searches and stored on our server. We use it only to count free searches and prevent abuse of the free allowance. It is not linked to your name or any personal profile.
Technical request data — standard information needed to deliver a network response (such as the time of the request). We do not build advertising profiles.

Subscription information

Purchase and subscription status — if you buy EventAI Pro, purchases are handled by Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status and an anonymous subscriber identifier so we can unlock Pro features. We never receive or store your full payment card details.

What we do not collect

No name, email address, or phone number.
No precise or GPS location (we only use the city name you type).
No contacts, photos, files, or microphone/camera access.
No account or login.

3How we use your information

To generate and show you events, sports, sights, and restaurants for the city you search.
To apply and enforce free-search limits and to detect and prevent abuse.
To provide and restore your EventAI Pro subscription.
To operate, maintain, and improve the reliability of the app.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4Third-party services

EventAI relies on the following service providers, which process data on our behalf. Each has its own privacy policy:

5Data retention

Search text is processed to produce your results and is not stored as a personal history tied to you. The device identifier and its usage counts are retained while the limits apply (the free allowance resets monthly) and are removed or reset in the normal course of operating the service. Subscription records are kept for as long as needed to provide and support your subscription.

6Data security

Your searches are sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Our API keys are held on secure servers and are never embedded in the app. Access to stored usage data is restricted to our backend service. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7International data transfers

Our providers may process and store data on servers located in the European Union, the United States, and other countries. By using EventAI, you understand that your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, under appropriate safeguards.

8Your rights and choices

You can stop all data collection at any time by not searching and by uninstalling the app.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in the Google Play Store.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. To make a request, contact us at post@etilbud.no.

9Children's privacy

EventAI is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
